So if I have a9lh and only use my EmuNAND always at the latest version, I'll be safe forever?
That's how it's been in the past when you couldn't update sysnand past 9.2 but could update emunand to latest. I figure it'll be the same way

Thanks god I've been using 9.2 SysNAND and 11.2 EmuNAND since I installed a9lh because I liked the concept of this combination and had enough storage on my microSD. Also, there has been several reports of users losing a9lh after updating to 11.2.

But then again, they can't really brick them without a hardware revision

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

I'm surprised they haven't started un-A9LHing systems with 11.0 to be honest. If hackers can do it, Nintendo can eventually undo it.

They're fishing for 33c3 speakers, nothing more. All the other bullshit they posted is just a guise. Think about it. They posted this just a couple weeks before a major ARM11 kexploit is announced as well as other major findings. They're hoping that at least one major speaker is gonna take the bait.

That doesn't matter. Nintendo has no right to read or tamper with their users' private files.
but according to nintendo / other various companies (and there lawyers) they have nearly all rights because you agreed they do when you accepted into there digital contract . . . if that would hold up in court or not is the real question

You can't sign away statutory rights. As an extreme example say their terms and conditions said "by clicking Agree you agree that we can come and murder you on your sleep anytime we like". Would that be legal? No.
