No, I mean I counted one region per game. So there'd probably be something like 300 releases if I counted every region.

1. Dated doesn't mean bad.
2. It's not 'relatively small'. I can count more GBA games I would want to put on a GBA flashcart compared to how many DS games I already have on my DSi flashcart.
3. Sure it's an opinion, but I agree that it shouldn't be a major consideration. The purchaser could just buy a Supercard DS2 if he/she wanted to play GBA games.
