Hacking is 2.2 worth it ?

I rarely play online and the games I want to play online I buy them so is it a necessity to update to 2.2 are there any performance improvements or bug fixes ?

Well apart from online, they have a save backup tool now but that's about it
So if you don't care about that then I guess there's no need

Thanks, it's just I'm afraid of getting banned we don't know how will Nintendo respond to this.

I think you have to rename your rom from .3ds to 3dz to get online. So you won't accidentally go online.

If I read correctly, you can only get banned if two people use the same card/dump, so if you buy your online games anyway, you could simply dump the roms to your own system so that you can play all of your online games with one micro SD card.

We don't know how the ban works or if it even exists
So its all speculation right now

No one really knows what Nintendo is going to do. On the Wii, they only banned blatant cheaters.

Yeah its worth it, better dumping and Homebrew plus online, I would say its worth just changing a simple file on your SD card that takes 2 seconds worth of you time to do! What a silly thread to make!!!

Not really. I was wondering the same thing. The idea behind this thread (I'm assuming) is "will 2.2 improve the way I use the cart?" The answer for the OP (and me, for that matter) is no.

Yeah I agree with you if online/Homebrew is not an option then I suppose 2.2 is not really necessary so I will take my words back! Tbh online is only really an option for me in 2.2 cause I wont be using Homebrew unless something really breakthrough is developed

I've found that 2.2 crashes more, not sure if anyone else gets that too.

In fact i thought that it crashes less, and it doesnt give me the weird there is no GW inserted (when in fact my GW is inserted) errors anymore.
