Iris in Phoenix Wright Trials and Tibulations 3
Iris apparently in some Pokemon anime/game aswell

    any I missed ?

Seems weird for such name to appear this often.

Ernesto Grassi’s incorporation of the legend of Iris as a framework for his rhetorical view helps to elucidate key concepts into his humanistic approach to language and rhetoric. Iris isn't any more common than dozens of other names out there. I hardly ever see it.

Right, I don't think it's that common TBH. Besides do you know for sure those characters were actually called Iris in the original Japanese version and that it isn't just a localized name? I'm pretty sure most Phoenix Wright characters have different Japanese and English names. You should also check out Japanese names in credits sometimes. Certain names appear pretty often, I'm sure I've seen quite a few Takeshi's for example.

I have not even really gone to obscure ones yet either, I admit a few I have not heard in people under 60 though.
Edit- forgot it was also the name of an ancient Greek god, such things are fairly popular for names as well.
