So, I am not sure if this fits on this site, but I don't know any other platform for that. So, I've got an Iphone 6 from my Grandfather, and it doesn't start anymore. It does absolutely nothing, and when I connect it to a Powersource via Cable (dont know how to say that in english) after a few seconds the apple logo shows for half a second and then dissapears, and then the Iphone does nothing again. Do you know how to fix this or where I could look for a solution?

Can you put it in DFU mode and connect it to a PC?

If it’s a software issue you can restore the firmware, if not it could be a dead battery?

Haven't got a PC here, put i'll try that later, and he said the battery was new when it happened (it was in 2019, he said that they made photos, then the battery went down to zero and it turned itself off, and after that it didn't turn on anymore.

Ok you can try plug it in (mains or preferably usb trickle charge), then hold home and power for 10 seconds: if the Apple logo comes up hopefully the battery icon will pop up and start charging.

That does sound like a faulty battery. At least there are plenty of repair shops who replace them.

Tried restoring it in DFU Mode using Itunes, but at some Point it just says "waiting for Iphone" and then nothing happens
Edit: when I wait longer it gives me an error code: 4005

Was it a replacement battery or factory? If a replacement was it official or third party?

I don't know, it was 2 years ago, he said his son replaced it and then he gave it to him

If nothing happens in DFU mode, I’d first check the battery.

Even an official one could have issues, such as the original one in my iPhone 6 which would suddenly cut off prior to the Apple underclock update.

Tried restoring it on two completely different PCs and its the same error every time, looks like it really is the battery or something, I'll bring it to a repair shop when I, well, go to city (?) the next time.
However, thanks for your help!
