So i recently bought an Ipatched Switch on 4.1.0 and followed a guide to set up CFW with Caffeine.
Everything works fine and i installed nsps on CFW (SYSNAND).
Since my firmware is too low for newer games i want to update.

My question is do i just have to set up emuMMC with Hekate and then launch ChoidujourNX to update?

Hope this makes sense, i'm just uncertain because i cant really find a guide specifically for Ipatched Switches.

To your question yes, then make sure your in your emunand, and update using ChoidujourNX, make sure autorcm is off, that's what I did, don't go to 9.0.1 yet but 9.0.0 works just make sure you have latest kosmos and pegascape. Are you using exfat or fat32? I've been wanting to ask another ipatched user if you go into fuse info on hekate what does it say.

I'm using fat32. What exactly do you want to know about the fuse info? Are you talking about the stuff in Console Info > Fuses?

No I got my answer turned out the switch I've been slow walking everything through wasn't ipatched, I was asking fuse info cuase it tells you if you're patched. I thought mine was a mistake so I wanted to ask someone with ipatched.

I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    nope
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:

@Xdqwerty you can use a "spawner" function on any object.

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Or when your player dies, you can say in code, if enemy exists, do nothing, but if enemy does not exist, then create enemy at certain spot. (This would be a pain tho for lots of emeies)

Easiest, simple way would be just restart scene, but player would restart from beginning.
