Hacking ios reinstall

hey guys,
im just wondering if i reinstall a cios with an updated version or a different one. do i need to delete the existing one first with ant title deleter or do i just go ahead and install it anyway?

plz help me im tryting to get band hero and sam and max season 1 to work but i cant without reinstalling some cioses like 33, 36, 222, 223 and 202
