I think that a final product should have an alternate Title ID (To allow both the original and custom to coexist) as well as some altered form of the banner. I'd be willing to take a look at the banner part, though it might take some time.

When I started playing around with the Internet Channel a year ago, I always used the Title ID "INET". This was before I was able to backup my wads perfectly.

As far as a banner goes, go for it. I don't know if I'm anywhere near ready for one, but you might have a channel that's ready to go.

Hey Teq, Have you tried your modofied browser on Justintv.com ? Just wondering...

Still a no go.

If I can get Hulu working, everything else should work. However, seeing as I never use my Wii for streaming video, it's not something that's very exciting to me.

Keep in mind, this isn't a project I'm working heavily on -- I just threw the idea out there so that people were aware that you could do this with the Internet Channel. That's not to say I'm going to drop it, but I'm probably not the best person for the job, either.

I'm just more than appreciative that you got the ball rolling. I would hug you if I could but Thank You for turning a good browser into one that's actually worth the 500 Wii points!

Not quite yet.

With 17,000 views, I take it this thing has some interest. So, I'll definitely clue everyone in when I put it up.

The revision doesn't matter as much as the version number. 9.0 r99 is simply the closest possible to v10 without a byte shift.... though no sites currently require Flash 10.

teq: As you prob. know from my posts, I went to the more graohical side of the browser vut I'd like to know if you know how to compress/pack 60 TGAs into ONE TPL. That's all that's missing for my *theme*(just recolored). Heres the link to the files: http://filedropper.com/cursors

What progress have you made so far??? Anything close to tabs? Kinda sad that we don't have the full source!!!

Try gentpl or tplconv(let me know if you can find the English version).

I've gotten tabs working, but they're sloppy and the code is stolen... so I'm trying to work around that...

The new homepage integrates search and bookmarks, along with a few other items I'm planning.

forbore: use Zetsubou. I alredy told you.

*is confused*

Anyway, forbore, let us know what happens.

However, like I mentioned before, using CSS to change the look of things is a lot easier.

So, it looks like a release isn't too far off?

I'm never going to call it a "release".

None of it is really my work -- I'm simply piecing together what has already been made available into something concise.

You can already browse in tabs with the Internet Channel by going to one of the many sites that enable it. The difference, however, is that integrating tabs into the browser itself reduces bandwidth usage and increases security(by not having to go to one of those sites).

Changing the homepage isn't possible through normal means, but I'm working on one that will be more functional than the current default.

Finally, let me remind everyone that modifying the Internet Channel isn't out of anyone's range -- the tools to do it are available on Wadder.net and GBATemp. I don't want this to be my project alone.
