OK, my dad handed me a copy of Roxio version 5, which I had no idea could screw up my CD drives. So I installed it, and my computer gave me an error at startup saying something about "Instant Burn UDF driver is not installed properly. Please reinstall again..." Or something close to that. I don't remember for sure. I googled a solution that involved RegEditing and deleting Upper and Lower value things, and when I restarted the disk drive worked again.
