Hacking Input works everywhere except games

I'm on 9.0.0 with the latest AMS and sigpatches, Input from joycons works regularly on the consoles menu and in the homebrew launcher
Games are launching but it seems the consoles don't recognize any input.

I read the latest AMS changelog and I understood from it that libnx homebrew need to be compiled or the console won't recognize any input, but I didn't see there that games are affected as well(all games I have installed)
Did I miss something?

EDIT: new commit by SciresM in the GitHub release fixed this problem, something to do with the hidmitm working aggressively
