hi,
my friend fully bricked his wii, he done something to his system menu.
he has no preloader or bootmii installed on it.

i was reading about savemii and its is a branch d problem.
http://savemii.net/troubleshooting.html

i think he needs to rebuild his nand fs and what is a nand flash programmer. how is he supposed to install bootmii on a fully bricked wii?

Would a infectus modchip help him in any way as one site has suggested this?

Should he buy a new wii?

Can some 1 please help me?

thanks in advance.

It'd be a lot easier for him to simply send the thing to Nintendo.

It definitely would not. Infectus chips have 21 soder points, it'd be a bitch to remove and then add it again. Plus it's a pretty old chip which means it out of warranty. From what I've read, I believe Infectus supports Auto-boot, since I've also read that it's been confirmed that Argon does.

Try an auto-boot disc with wad-manager or something. Maybe somebody else could help with that since I don't really know much about it.
