Well. It's that time of the year where you get some money to spend. And I've been wanting to get a new TV to replace my 9 year old king. I was wondering if this TV was a good buy?

Best Buy's brand Dynex is a great reliable choice. It's cheap and served me well for years.

I have a 32" Emerson HDTV. It's only 720p, but it's great IMO. I got it at WalMart for around $300.
My parents actually bought that model, too.

I like it but its way too big for the stand in my bedroom. Thanks for the opinions guys.

My god why is it blue? How would that possibly fit into any decor scheme you have going?
It would fit into the decor if you were a smurf or an Na'Vi

Or if you're a member of Eiffel 65
No one got that joke most likely

Sceptre is one of the worst monitor/HDTV manufacturers in the industry. They use the shittiest panels with horrible picture quality, and many of their models are known for reliability issues.

720p is pretty terrible for a 32 inch tv, its a older model tv, dont really recommand it, a 32 should have 1080p or 1080i. for the samsung, LG or Insignia is probably a better bargain at bestbuy

It's really not that noticable at 32 inches, at around 36 and up it starts to get more and more apparent. Plus the TV isn't made out of trash.

also, it is at a great price: a 26 in. insignia costs just as much

Edit: does the tv really have to be blue?
