I want to install cheats for Animal Crossing, but I am super duper confused on how to install a custom firmware. I tried to follow a video on YouTube for NTR CFW, but my computer said I could get a virus if I downloaded it. Last time it actually did get a virus when I tried downloading something, so I'm scared and stuck on what to do.

You should never follow a YouTube guide many are out of date or have information that will end up bricking your 3ds. To install cfw follow this guide is the one recommended by nearly everyone on this site. https://3ds.hacks.guide/get-started.html

It doesn't tell me exactly where to put it on the SD card. It just tells me to launch it.
Hi newbie, I’m dad.
It tells exactly what you want:
3DS
  • sdmc:/3ds/Checkpoint: root path
  • sdmc:/3ds/Checkpoint/config.json: custom configuration file
  • sdmc:/3ds/Checkpoint/saves/<unique id> <game title>: root path for all the save backups for a generic game
  • sdmc:/3ds/Checkpoint/extdata/<unique id> <game title>: root path for all the extdata backups for a generic game

I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar

    nope

@Xdqwerty you can use a "spawner" function on any object.

Or when your player dies, you can say in code, if enemy exists, do nothing, but if enemy does not exist, then create enemy at certain spot. (This would be a pain tho for lots of emeies)

Easiest, simple way would be just restart scene, but player would restart from beginning.
