If you could take a trip to ANY country, where would you go?

Would take my family to Korea. My wife is Korean, but was adopted by an American family (her father was in the military during the 60s/70s). She was a young girl in an orphanage, found as a baby in an abandoned building, and has very little memory of her time there. Would love to give her and the kids an opportunity to touch and be touched by their heritage.
France has tons of absolutely beautiful places, too bad most tourists sum it to only Paris.

I can go to any country I want already.
What I would have liked to see are countries that don’t exist anymore, like east and west Germany. I heard that the difference between those two was amazingly high.
