Gaming if i get a new psp 2000, will it come with firmware that cant be made

It's not the firmware, it's the new motherboard.

I'm pretty sure most of the bundles/limited edition 2000s work fine, though.

I've heard some people had problems with the blue madden pack, but I can't confirm this.

you should be fine if you buy that one but if you want the core you should go to your local game/store and either buy a used one or check the box.

As long as the bundle hasn't been modified as of late, then it will be fine. If you buy it in person, just ask one of the store clerks to give you one of the bundles that arrived a couple months ago or so, just to be safe.
