What if we were to make a donor-cart-based switch flashcart? You would put a microsd card with a game/homebrew and plug a donor card into the flashcart. The FC would redirect it so that the switch would detect it like it would normally have DC connected. Then the switch would boot and authenticate DC and after that shift so the switch would run code from the microsd in FC. The shift would need to happen in such a way that the switch would think it’s just running DC. Do you think something like that could be possible?

Auth might be done in a game specific way so that you would only be able to launch the same game that you have a donor cart of, which would make it pointless. I really don't know though. But that was how it worked on the Vita which is why you had the Cobra Black Fin flashcart which relied on crowdsourcing the game authentication. And it would make sense of Nintendo to design it the same way since it's much harder to crack, but I don't think anyone's really looked deeply into it, because it's only useful for piracy, and that is a deal breaker for many in the scene.
Other than that, I don't see any reasons why this wouldn't work. It's more a question of, who would buy it, especially with the new upcoming exploit from TX? It would be far more limited than CFW. I'm sure they'll get some sales from people who just want the easiest solution, but I don't think there's a huge market for it, at least not right now. Maybe in the future when Switches are all patched and no one has figured out a new exploit for them, there would be a big market for a flashcart.
