TBH in my experience most females write a lot prettier than most males. You should take it as a compliment.

I dot is and js, but I don't just stab once. I do it in a small circular motion to make sure it's actually there; not as a circle.

I can see how someone thinks putting a circle instead of a dot is girly. Like people in this thread have said, only girls, typically at least, do that.
