I want to make recent apps smaller

IF you have a recent Samsung phone, you can install Good Lock and from there, and in the "Home Up" module, change the layout in the Task Changer" section.

There's a ton more stuff you can do within the various Good Lock modules if you experiment around a bit.

For generic Android, I do not know anything to recommend off-hand.

i solved i downloaded panels
swipe from right to left and a panel with apps opens
I have to remove and insert the ones I always use and I immediately find the app because they are icons and they are small
