Hacking I think my battery is f**cked

i got my ds 2nd hand for freee

and it last not much longer than 2hours on the brightest level
then i goes on to red lite
is that normal

oh and it takes more than 2 hours to fully charge it

They do, but the results are varied from what I heard. Some say they last longer, others say they get shorter plying time.

Just stick with the original type.

it just means its used. Why you use at the brightest level, though? I only use that in emergency situations. I always set it to 0 or 1.

Its better to use a lower brightness. And since its a used ds, theres a chance the battery is dying. DS battery is good for around 500 charges or so from what i hear.

You can try the supposedly "2000 mah" batteries at dealextreme for the Ds lite. They aren't acutally 2000 mah but slightly higher than original capacity.
