I need help recording CD's to my lap.

My laptop doesn't have the CD-DVD player and I want to transfer music from a CD to my Lap.
All I have is:
- Male to Male Audio Cable
- CD I want to record
- Discman

Which software can I use to transfer the audio files from the CD to my Lap?

Technically, you can use http://www.audacityteam.org/
to record whatever the discman is currently playing.
assuming the laptop has line-in capabilities.

Or you could look at external cd/dvd drives.
