sorry to be a pain but i just wanted to make sure i had this right from what i have been reading in this forum/other online sources.
I am picking up my 3ds and an acekard used tomorrow ( the acekard works on the 3ds) and both have not been updated for 6 months.
So, would if i am correct would i follow these steps?
Wipe the micro sd card- and place the newest kernal in the root directory:
Download AKAIO 1.8.9
Then i would need to download this :
Firmware Update of AK2i for console 3DS3.0 and DSi1.4.3
and install that.
this would then give me the most current update - and i could then update the physical console itself? or is the firmware update not needed if i get the kernal to begin with? that is where i am a little confused.
thanks,
-Andrew
