PS1/2 I just got this PS2 PHAT from someone.....

.... And it seems to have a Matrix chip installed (v1.99)

The hard drive included is a 20GB IDE HD.

However, when I put the IDE Hard Drive in my PC, it seems to not recognize it, while also using WinHIIP the PS2 HD also wasn't recognized. I wonder what homebrew they did use on it? Only homebrew loads a list of the games installed in the HD and no other commands.

PS. Please me merciful on me as I'm a noob on PS2 modification.

I came here to finde why first time I have used winhiip work fine but after that it couldn't fine hdd
