I have a factory default Vita with absolutely no updates done to it.

If I homebrew (VHBL) the Vita can I play store bought games? or wil store bought games revert the machine, or recognize that the vita is hacked and refuse to play? Also, what's getting PSN games like for the Vita? I've seen there's an open source tool to browse the store with. Can I transfer those game with the open source content manager?

Thanks for any replies.

Yes, no, easy, I don't know.

VHBL does not effect playability of store bought games. Of course, some games need updates to play, however VHBL works regardless of these updates (so far). I forget if updating will cause VHBL to be wiped. Only works for PSP games, not Vita.

Getting PSN games is easy - browse the store, buy the game, let it download, play. Pirating the games don't work. Make sure you have enough space on the memory card when you download the games.

In order for PSN games transferred to the Vita to work, they have to be connected to your account. If you didn't buy them, either on the third party app or the PS3, it won't work. Pirating and gamesharing don't work.
