Gaming I have a question on WIFI?

Is there otherways to connect my PSP 3001 to my WIFI? I know about the WEP and WPA2 thing. I just want to connect to my WIFI Modem [spectrum wifi]

PSP 3000 series use a 2.4GHz, 802.11b/g standard, and WEP/WPA-PSK security , you won't be able to get on 5 GHz network with legacy gaming console.

you need to check your router, and change settings to fit what they PSP require, or you won't be able to connect to that network.

The address for a Spectrum router may be http://192.168.0.1 or http://192.168.1.1; it should have it printed on it. You would then enable 2.4ghz network, and disable WPA2. Configure the network the PSP with WPA1 or WEP.

Personally, I would see about getting a cheap router to use as for Wifi on older devices rather than mess around/weakening the main wifi settings.

If possible also setting this second router to be isolated from the main network.
