So I have d2x cIOS Installer and for your information, I am using the right slots and bases and stuff (Slot 249, 250 and 251). When I plug my usb in (FAT32) with my games (in a wbfs folder) in the port nearest to the edge and load up USB Loader GX of the HBC, in works fine but then in the menu my games are not there. I go to settings > Hard Drive settings. At Game/Install Partition it says Unknown. I am using a 7GB USB with wbfs games and it just does not show up. All there is my channels. I can run a syscheck. But the games are completely fine e.g. GAME [GAMEID].wbfs. The games were run through Wii Backup Manager to be converted to wbfs. I do not see what is the problem. Help...

Flash drive compatibility is generally low. You can try using a different loader ios or a different loader all together, results may vary.

You can also improve flash drive compatibility by formatting the drive to wbfs instead of fat32 using wii backup manager. Doing this however would forfeit many of the benefits of a fat32 hdd (like being able to store GC games, hbc apps, emunands, etc).

hey, i am new to this site and i dont know which is the proper thread for my question. my flash drive (fat32) works perfect with the usb loader gx. and now i want to use my seagate 2tb external hardive(thegreen one). i started by formatting it to nfts defaul allocation and then from wii backup manager formatted it again to be sure. i transferred games like i usually do from the sofatware. when i start usb loader gx on my wii. it prompts with this , select a partition or format. i am stuck at this point as i dont know what to do. if i click the option select on wii it shows 4 partitions with partition 1 only readable with 2080 something gb, the rest parititons are not reabale i selected the first one and it showed no games,(tired dropping the same game directly and what not. then i though of formatting the harddrive on wii in usbloader gx. messed it up too and now it shows 127.8 gb of free space with no games.(i again copied the games and still it said no games and same 127 gb of free space (original 2tb harddrive) i am sorry , i am a bit noob when it comes to computer thing like disc parititons and all. so please if anyone can help me on this. i am currently experimenting with a single game wii sport resort whihc works perfectly through my flash drive.

@The Real Jdbye, I thought about that and I have blank DVD's and Blurays but honestly after like 90 songs I just listen to it a couple of hundred times toss it out and burn something else or have like 2-3 CD's. Florida here the heat in the car tends to ruin the CD's after like a few months even commercial pressed ones don't last too long.
