Hardware I Don't Care What Anyone Says But...

I just got my hands on a Gameboy Micro and they are absolutely amazing, all the games look so much better, brighter and are just so amazing. Its so small and perfectly fits in any pocket and when you pop a G6 lite in their with tonnes of games and some emulators its just amazing. Anyone else recently see one and amazed? why or why not? I gotta hear some feedback.

It's a true portable gaming device. It was just too expensive for the beginning. Once the price got slashed to bits, people started getting Nintendo's message about the image-conscious. Anyway, it's just a convenient piece of hardware that uses nearly the same tech as the DS (screen and battery).

I wanted to get one of these when the bit generation series came out. Seemed like the perfect combination. Nice fun little games on a nice little portable. Still would sort of like it. But no money to throw away on it, just for something that'd be..nice to have.

Isn't the gameboy micro screen smaller? I thought this when I saw it so maybe thats the reason why it looks better. Its a nice piece of hardware, I just find that the screen is too small when compared to the GBASP.

They are good. But only if you have a good flash cart. I recently sold mine because I have too much handhelds and need the money for my GP2X + BOB Cradle.

i love my game boy micro i personally didnt like the games for the ds but i really liked the games for gba plus the gmb micro is smaller than the psp or the ds lite its perfect for short sessions. GBM is what you call a portable, its small

Agreed. I would've been happy upgrading to a Micro when they were released, I only got a DS because with only a £20 price difference the Micro just wasn't worth it.

[Edit] and now I'm tempted to see if I can get a cheap beat-up second hand one for commuting, I've never really liked getting my DS out on a train or leaving it in my bag at work... Curse you people spending my money! :shakefist:
