Even if hykem released IOSU now, there would literally be nothing anyone could do with it out of the box, I don't get this unreasoning desperation for a capability 99% of you can't even leverage.

NWPlayer123 said she has ported TCP Gecko, Cafiine, SDCafiine to it.

If it was released now then people could start developing for it now and in a week, a month, a year something that the casual user would benefit from would eventually be released.
If the IOSU is delayed by a month then it adds a month to the development of something useful.
If its delayed a year then it adds a year to the development of something useful.
Now if he gave the exploit to other developers so they can continue with their work then when he actually releases it wouldnt be such a big deal.

it wouldnt delay development fully , you can create , maybe not test but creativity starts with an idea , and info is out there for the code.

I know this is annoying question, but I would like to be 100 % sure. so 5.5.0. will be the same as 5.5.1. ?
I want to update to get my vWii back because I deleted IOS58. So its safe to update.

He's documenting everything on wiiubrew so development time is the same regardless...In fact, he's speeding it up for some. Instead of a bunch of people standing around with an exploit they cant use, he and others are paving the roadmap to using it, while not exposing it to immediate patching which actually maintains the viability of the xploit for hopefully more versions than just to 5.5.1. Imagine he releases it, they patch it, all the documentation gets done, but now its locked out. It makes a lot more sense to keep it private while actually paving the road for a real homebrew eco system. Its not like we can't write homebrew right now...there is literally nothing stopping anyone on 5.3.2 or 5.4 from writing some pretty outstanding homebrew....

So, she's ported already developed tools....so wash rinse repeat. So we need IOSU for this? smdh... and NWPlayer has access to private kernel exploit that is up to 5.5.1 so are you sure its not this that has been ported. I'm pretty sure MN1 has stated unequivocally that neither nor anyone in his group has hykems IOSU xploit.

There are people here who want IOSU for game modding has their main goal.

Maybe she read the documentation .... because thats faster than actually having access to it. NO ?

meh, i can wait for hykem. I only want emulators or vc injection, thats all. Just give hykem time, your drug will come, eventually.

Everything is advancing at a great pace, I'm porting my exploit to a few key firmware versions and documenting relevant information.

Will this documentation allow other devs to port to remaining firmware versions? I've been on 3.1.0 for a long time, patiently waiting out events to unfold and I doubt such an old version would be on the "key firmware version" list.

I'd like 3.1.0 supported, waiting patiently too!
