Actually, now you don't need a PSP game installed anymore thanks to this nifty homebrew: https://gbatemp.net/threads/psp-bubble-installer-for-adrenaline-ark-no-ps3-psn.459931/

Just install the Bubble installer, follow the instructions, and then run the easy Adrenaline installer again to have it boot from the bubble created by that homebrew instead of your game.

EDIT: Also, there is a need for the PSP game, as that's how Adrenaline loads. It has to hook into the PSPEmu from a running PSP game or demo.

Btw, back to the ps1 pkgs, i've found the "idu-mode.vpk" already but not the PKG installer. Next I don't know how to install the IDU app.

u can call the pkg installer with uri caller. it's the default option in it.

Then, install uri caller and hit the start button while in IDU mode so you can install PS1 PKGs

Just install it like any other VPK? It's a homebrew app, just put it anywhere and install it lol.

Then open it, let it run and it'll close out on it's own (if it doesn't, just hit the home button and open it again) then follow the rest of the steps.

when I try to transfer the downloaded NPXS10031 to the vs0/app, it says an error occurred copying a file to the FTP server. make sure oyu have permission to put files on the server. I'm using windows 10 explorer.

edit: before that, I isntalled and ran vitaRW. Bunch of code showed up and it closed by itself.

When you say you're using Windows 10 explorer, do you mean you're using the File Explorer to access the FTP server?

If so, I'd suggest trying an actual FTP client like Filezilla or WinSCP, it's likely Windows has weird file permissions issues.

if ur using the dns to block updates, u don't need to disable wifi.

As mentioned, as long as the DNS server is active you don't need to disable wifi, but to answer your question anyways you should do it before rebooting into IDU mode.

Ok! I've set IDU mode to ON and tried to launch uricaller. Nothing happened. I also can't see the PKG installer app in demo mode. Confuuuusing

uri caller will open the pkg installer for u. the pkg installer doesn't need to be visible. yeah, it's confusing at first, but u'll get the hang of it.

oh okay. I think I'm starting to get it. I'm in IDU mode, then I pressed the key combination, launched pkg installer and tried to expand the ps1 game pkg. All seemed fine until I realize every time it reaches about half, the system shuts itself down. Even if I keep on pressing the dpad.

What the hell might that be?

IDU mode automatically shuts down after 5 minutes (some sort of security thing or something). I forgot it does that to be honest lol.

I was not aware of the work around or the full work around rather. I knew u could negate the five-minute limit, but I was only aware of the system having to be plugged in. I thought it had to be plugged into a wall actually since plugging the system into my laptop didn't work. lol

holy fing shit, it worked! Finally! I think my IQ raised but a few decimals too. Thanks everyone and especially Tom for teaching me how to fish.

Now I will finally back up my games and the memory card. Also heard I should back up this one too tm0:npdrm/act.dat. Are those enough? Especially in case something happens with my vita and I have to put this memory card into a new one (3.60 with henkaku too of course)?
