how to tell what hardware version of AK2i you have?

    sorry if this has been covered.. is there a definite way to know?

    One way is to install AKAIO and look at the Help screen in the menu. It will show the HW version.

    if it has a bump on it then it is a HWID44 if it doesn't have a bump it is a HWID81

    compare to my Acekard 2.1 and my Acekard 2i, the 2i is very flat. So all HW81 are very flat? I like my Acekard 2i very much because it's thin unlike my 2.1 (or HW44 as they said)

    Erm yes? I guess it has a smooth surface compared to the bump in the HW:44.

    The spring loaded part isn't really relavent since the newest batches apparently have no springs HW81 and older batches of HW81 did.

    yea, id just prefer the spring loaded.. dunno just seems better to me [​IMG]
