Hacking How to switch from touch screen to top screen in GBA games?

Hi all,

Just a quick question. How (if possible) can I enable my NDSL's top screen to be use for GBA games instead of the touch screen? It feels more 'natural', for loss of a better word, to be looking at the top screen for the games I like playing.

I remember I was able to switch using whatever old loader was on my R4 but no idea how to go about it on AceKard/AKAIO.

AKAIO reads it through the NDS's firmware. Set it to top screen from the NDS's firmware (You know wthat small button at the bottom center of the screen where you can choose to launch an NDS or GBA game or Pictochat, ect, set it from there.)

Well actually, I've only tested this through with retail games. If you're using a 3in1 then the above method probably won't work, but give it a shot until someone else that has 3in1 experience comes along. I'm trying to get my hands on a 3in1 so I can be more helpful on this forum but for now, someone else will have help you.

It does work with the 3 in 1. You just set it through the firmware.
