Hacking How to reset the parental controls on DSi

Ok so just bought one today second hand, had a password set on it. It's 12:00AM and Nintendo isn't open.

Just tested Marcan's Wii reset generator AND IT WORKS ON THE DSI!!!!

Indeed, Nintendo reused the master code generation algorithm completely.

Additionally, if you get at least one master code, you can ALWAYS unlock your DSi (or Wii). You do that, by setting the system to the month/day the code was issued for. Nintendo is probably never going to parental protect the date/time settings. (In fact, if your date is not set correctly, they WILL ask you to set it correctly, since they will only issue whatever Today's code is, for a given system.

I did the confirmation of parental control settings, same day I got my system, brand new. (Was curious.)

Yes It Really does work. I used it and it removed parental controls on my cousin's Nintendo DSi 3ds.
