How to play new game cartridges without system-update

I have not used my switch for a couple of years and my system is still on 4.1.0.

I just bought Zelda TOTK but when inserting the cartridge it says that the game requires a system-update.

What is the best way playing the game without updating the firmware?

You can't play newer games like totk without system updates

are you keeping it on 4.0.1 for pegascape exploit? if so, you should have an emunand which you can update

Therefore, I must setup everything from scratch.

- How should I update the emunand after setting it up? Via a game cartridge?
- How can I update a game on emunand without going online?
