Modded system can't read physical cartridges

Hey all! Today I decided to try and actually use the game cart slot on my v1 switch for the first time in like 5 years. Just to find out it seems to have trouble reading cartridges now

Whenever I insert a game, the system noticeably slows down/hangs(I can't scroll or interact with icons) until about 20 seconds later when it finally gives me the unable to read error.

I already double-checked Hekate, to see if I had NoGC patching enabled. Which I did, but unfortunately disabling that setting did not change anything. Is there something else silly that I may be forgetting about? I have not used a physical card in this system since my Twitch stream last played through BOTW lol

My system is currently on AMS 1.5.4 and OFW 16.0.3

Ah that is likely it than thank you! I was under the assumption that the nogc setting in hekate adjusted that config file directly and was not separate
