ROM Hack How to make custom keyboard?

Any know how to create a custom keyboard using the 3DS's built in one?
I used the Edit your Homemenu tutorial up until you actually have to start editing it. Which im stuck at. MSBT Editor Reloaded cannot load bin files.

i dont know why that would work as MSBT cant open the files as bins

I'm not too familiar with MSBT. Is it not supposed to open them?

It's suppose to open MSBT files and not bins.
Tried with admin too, wont read the bin

If it has the same header as normal MSBT files do, try renaming the file extension to .msbt

Not sure why you are trying to use MSBT editor as it doesn't seem to be designed for this sort of thing at all...
You'd probably have to do it manually with a hex editor. Might even require some reverse engineering and asm if you want to add new characters and not just replace existing ones.

Can someone give me a tutorial that explains me what i need to make a custom keyboard and change my font?

Fixed. There was an option to decompress a bin to make a compatable bin to edit.
