If there's a channel installer app then it likely does not require you to provide a WAD as well, otherwise yes, you just install the wad with any wad manager. Obviously make sure you have brick protection in the form of Priiloader or bootmii boot2 before installing unverified WADs\Channels

Btw, ModMii comes with a nice looking spinning usb forwarder channel that will launch all 3 loaders, it will try gx first, if not detected it will look for wiiflow, and if not detected, it will look for cfg usb loader, and if not detected it will look for generic usbloader and usb-loader path\apps

this might not be ideal for you if you want to be able switch between loaders frequently, then you'd need more than 1 forwarder (or you'd need to use the HBC)

(1) Can I install forwarders for GX and WiiFlow Lite using WiiFlow Channel Installer ?

(2) Can I install forwarders for GX and WiiFlow Lite using a WAD Manager + WAD file ?

(3) What is your recommended WAD manager ?

(4) Which method is better, (1) or (2) ?

Many thanks

1) Probably not, I'm not familiar with this particular channel installer app, but I'd be surprised if the WiiFlow Channel Installer could also install channels for other USB Loaders.

2) Yes

3) Some YAWMM Mod, you can get it from ModMii. It can do everything you'll ever need to, except u can't use it to region change as it's built in brick protection will prevent it

4) Installing WADs is more efficient, if you ran 3 different channel installer apps to install 3 different channels, you could accomplish the exact same thing by running a WAD manager and installing 3 WADs. But at the end of the day neither is better than the other, the end result would be the same.

The main benefit to using a channel installer app is that they're usually associated with the original developer of the project, and you may want that specific forwarder installed, and it may be difficult to find it in WAD form (although packing it into a WAD after installing it using the installer would be easy enough).

That means that if u were to try region changing your wii from U to Jap or something, u could not do it with some Yawmm mod. You won't need to do it frequently or ever

Wii mod lite has a bug in it, if u install WADs then hit B repeatedly to return to the main menu, then hit B one more time (as is natural to do when going back through a number of folders), it will crash. Depending what you're doing, this could lead to a brick (unlikely though unless u are in the middle of region changing)

Besides the extra brick protection built into some yawmm mod is good for most users, and it's not present in WML or mmm for that matter.
