How to increase in Rank?

I am wondering how people rise in rank.(or whatever you call the word under your name in the forums)
I have no idea how to become something better. do you answer forums? do you make donations?
What is the big secret?

wait so how do you change your acount information, like your picture? Do you have to do it when you first make your account? And for signatures, how do you do those?

Click 'My Controls' (near the top right of any page) to get to your control panel. Links to all of the pages with the various settings can be found in the menu on the left side of the control panel.

The testing section is for testing fonts/things like that, but everyone just posts all their stupid crap there. As long as it's not illegal...

You can change your account information by going to the 'My Controls' link at the top.
