Having a slight problem with the NBAHomepass.exe in CMD. I've placed it and CMD in the root of C:\, but after entering C:\NbaHomePass.exe start BASE256, it comes back with Args : [macs_file] [shuffle<true false="">] [timestep] [reconnection_delay]

1.0 version has more arguments, you need to launch like this: "C:\NbaHomePass.exe start BASE256 300 30"
300 is the number of seconds between each cycle (300 is 5 minutes), the 30 is a parameter you would most likely no need to touch. If typing gets boring do a batch file.

I just tried the ubuntu method on my Banana Pi running Debian.

I can execute nzone.sh, but there's no nzone.ap in /usr/local/bin

Code:
/tmp/nzone.sh BASE256,GBATEMP :(

Okay, using NBAHomePass 1.0 now, script runs fine. Entered nbahomepass.exe base256.txt true 300 30. The spoofed network was created, but had no access. Aborted the script and retried, and now the network doesn't show up at all.

nvm, got the network to reappear. Went into device manager, and found my hosted network adapter disabled. Reenable, ran the script, and it has appeared. Still not receiving access though.

Do you share the connection of the parent adapter ?

I'm not sure how to take and post screenshots, so I'll do my best to describe. "Allow other users to connect" is checked, and Home Networking Connection is named Ethernet. "Allow other users to control" is also checked. I recently disabled windows firewall as well.

Do you get a drop down menu? In that menu it should allow you to choose the network you want to share with. I didnt get this in Windows 10, then I went to a windows 7 machine and what do you know, a drop down menu allowing me to choose the console 3ds network. Console 3ds got network/internet access packets went both ways and the next thing i know i got an eon ticket

Try these IPv4 settings for your virtual adapter :
IP Address : 192.168.137.1
Subnet Mask : 255.255.255.0

@Nba_Yoh I solved my issue! You won't believe how I solved it.... I just deleted my usual home connection, and reconnected. Then, I downloaded Nba Homepass 1.0, put it in my C folder with cmd.exe and the two mac lists, started it, shared the home connection with the virtual one, and... bam! Green Light! The only "issue" I'm currently having is that sometimes Nba Homepass stops because the netbook takes too much time to reconnect to the internet, but then I just need to restart the command. Thank you for what you did for me anyways!

So, a huge shoutout to win 10 users... a stupid thing like just deleting your home connection and re-setting it may help your homepass to work again!

Nice fix ! xD I have some issue with my recent installation of Windows 10 on one of my laptops so I cannot do any test now.

Ok, I've tested NbaHomePass v1.0. I really like the new display with the timer and the current MAC address

But I still have the same issue as before, with my 3DS not being able to connect to connect to the hosted network after a certain amount of iteration. I can still kill the program update the MAC adresses list to move to the next one, though. The difference is that in v0.3, it failed after going through 18 addresses, now it is 9 addresses. I'm a little bit surprised no one reported this one yet.

edit : it is actually more like 10, than 9. Must have missed some addresses the previous times

I have the same issue, although I've never actually counted the number of address before the 3DS fails to connect. Happens around the half an hour mark I would say.

The bug is fixed, here is NbaHomePass 1.0.1!

  • Fixed bug which prevented the connection of the console.
  • Download and save the following file : https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/59471794/NbaHomePass.exe to the desired location
  • Open Start => Accessories => Command Prompt <Right-click> => Run as administrator
  • Then, in the Command Prompt you just opened, execute :
    • <Path of the folder containing the file>\NbaHomePass.exe <FILE> <SHUFFLED> <TIMESTEP> <DELAY>
      • FILE : name of the file containing all the MAC addresses (in the same folder as NbaHomePass)
      • SUFFLED : true/false if you want to shuffle the MAC addresses
      • TIMESTEP : time between two addresses changes, in seconds
      • DELAY : reconnection delay, in seconds

  • The program will execute, then it will show you the informations and options that will be used.
  • If you disagree the configuration, just close the Command Prompt and launch again with different options. If you agree the configuration, just press Enter.
  • The program will now change the MAC address every TIMESTEP second(s), if you want to skip a specific address just press Enter and the program will use the next address.
  • When you want to stop the cycle just close the Command Prompt.
Here is a basic file containing 256 MAC addresses : https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/59471794/BASE256.txt

The program works on my pc but you might find some bugs, if a bug occurs, notify me.
