So I am wanting to hack my Wii U but I’m very nervous about it as in what can I do with it and what are the risks! Also what can I do once I have cfw on my Wii U can I rip the games I have from disc so I can have it on my hard drive? Also can I play Wii games and GameCube games like I have sone games as cia for my 3ds does it work like that? I have hacked my psp and my 3ds so I know a little about hacking things but I’m new to the Wii U side of things also am I still able to play my games that I have paid for since I have a lot of them sorry for so many questions I have looked up a little bits but I have no idea if it’s outdated so thought I would ask I have ver 5.5.3 E

P.s I can see so many threads on how to hack this and so on but I’m just so unsure as it could be outdated and so on so if someone out there can give me a step by step that would be awesome and thank you for your time.

Follow the guide, if you go for Coldboot Haxchi there is a chance of brick, if you successful installed Coldboot Haxchi, then you don't need to run haxchi every cold boot. Buy the game to be used for the exploit, using a pirated copy of DS game for CBHC you will brick. Brain Age is recommended to be used as the exploitable game if you planning to go the CBHC route.

What if I just want to boot manually is there a less chance of a brick is it 100% successful but it’s just one of them things to say it could brick? Like when I hacked my 3ds? As there could be a chance that it could happen.?

No, haxchi has no bricking, Coldboot method has the risk.

Follow Kaflukes guide, its done properly and works. Lots of users had issues with wiiu.hacks.guide and then came for advice on how to fix. Can't understand gbatemp users telling others to use a guide external to gbatemp when there is a perfectly good guide on here!

im using a 16bg sd card. but in the next few weeks im thinking about picking up a bigger sd card am I able to upgrade once I have already put the soft mod on just copy all the files over will that be ok?

There should be an autobot to do this like that pansy site on the tip of my tounge...

lol what?
Like reddit. Lol I see whenever key words are used in a post they have this autobot send instructions. I just dislike that site for its bad forum.
