Since this is the preferred method of launching RetroArch now (at least if you want to use 3D cores) I was wondering whether I could just use a small game I don't play anyway to "turn" that into RetroArch by

• changing its name to RetroArch
• changing its icon to RetroArch
• adjust the config.ini of Atmosphère to just that altered game in order to use it to launch RetroArch
• changing its titleID (optional) so I could install the donor game beside the game I just edited

Is there any tool to achieve that? And if not, can it be done by hand with HacDiskMount?

This way I would also still have RetroArch in my playtime statistics (player profile) instead of something like Mario Tennis or Zelda. :)

Answering a two year old question. :D
I obviously know better now. Still forwarders won't help since they don't report playtime to the activity log store.
