After watching various video about how to make an emuMMC I finally did mine but I have a doubt about how should I configure the online setting for both nand?.

In some videos they mention that I should never conect to online on sysNand even if I use emuNand but in others they mention that there's no problem using online on sysNand as long as I don't use any kind of hombrew or cfw on the stock OFW. same goes for emuNand, they said that I should never connect it to online.

So, Can I use the online features like connect to my Nintendo account, play online and play and download cartridge and eshop games as long as I'm in sysNand?
I might want to play legit Pokemon SS online on the sysnand partition and I might get a Switch lite in the future and I want to know if I can make it compatible with my actual switch.

Should I connect to online with emuNand, How can I use the online feature of homebrews If i can't connect online?

Sorry if this was asked before but this is really confusing and I don't want to screw things up.

Any help would be appreciated.

The standard on an unpatched Switch would be to go online with the sysNAND and stay offline with the emuNAND. There will always be a risk ban, but from what I read it is pretty safe by now.

On a hacked patched switch with firmware 4.1.0 the story is different. The sysNAND cannot use the online services because the firmware on sysNAND is too old. So here your only option would be to go online with emuNAND on latest firmware. But the ban risk is higher then as well I would assume.

So no point in down load the Homebrew app store if I can't connect online with emunand?

Should I use incognito or 90dns for Emunand?

That’s two things. If you use 90dns or incognito or SXOS, you can connect to the internet to use e.g. homebrew App Store. You just should not use the official Nintendo services (eStore, online play etc.).

    Switch 2 shouldn't cost more than $250. It's a fucking handheld console.

best buy is questionable... I can't get thru a line
  • TeconMoon @ TeconMoon:
Pre-ordering was a bit nuts but I somehow got two orders lined up. Walmart went live early with a queue system that was actually extremely stable and I was able to snag one for shipping, no in-store pickup.

Target.com went down immediately but the app was up for a little longer before going down and a couple of friends managed to snag pre-orders there, but it was $10 extra for release day shipping also with no local pickup.

Don't give up on the Best Buy line! I waited for 35 minutes before the page automatically refreshed and asked me to re-login, I thought I was done for but after I re-logged back in it took me immediately to checkout with 10 minutes to complete the purchase.

Best Buy local pickup is what I was going for so I'm glad it panned out. I had some rewards certificates waiting to be used and got some money back on my Best Buy credit card. Gotta get me that midnight pickup!

@TeconMoon walmart keeps going in and out of stock. I'm worried about ordering 1 more and having cancellation since I already ordered 1 tho
  • realtimesave @ realtimesave:
@TeconMoon I got booted out of the best buy line in one of my browsers dunno what's up with that

@TeconMoon what do you plan on doing with the 2nd unit? family member? resale?
