When I was living in Japan a couple years ago I bought retail carts, mostly ones that teach kanji, but also a lot of games. I own about 30 original Japanese titles.
It wasn't until I moved back to California that I learned about flashcarts. Since I started using flashcarts, I have bought 8 games. In fact, playing the ROMs is what influenced me to buy those 8 titles. They're still in the shrink wrap
So in total, I own 38 original DS cartridges.

I only buy DS games to give to other people, these days.
Another Code: Two Memories
Kirby's Canvas Curse
Mario Kart DS
Meteos
Project Rub (x)
Spiderman 2 (x)
Super Mario 64
WarioWare: Touched! (x)
Zoo Keeper (x)
The ones marked with an (x) I got with no case. Bought them for a pretty damn good price, back when they were new releases too. All 4 for about the same cost as a single game. But then, after a little while, I got my Ewin2
And now, a few years later, I've retired my Ewin2(though I might still use it for a few small puzzle games.. more room on the microsd that way), and bought myself a CycloDS Evolution!
Super Mario 64 DS
Pac-Pix
Meteos
Advance Wars: Dual Strike
Kirby: Canvas Curse
Tetris DS
Brain Age
Brain Age 2
Ultimate Spider-Man
Sonic Rush
Club House Games
Animal Crossing Wild World
Mario Kart DS
New Super Mario Bros.
Advance Wars: Days of Ruin
Elite Beat Agents
Pokemon Diamond
Zelda: Phantom Hourglass
Yoshi Island DS
Cooking Mama
Nintendogs: Dachshund
I think over time i owned about 10 but i could not even begin to tell you what they were. After i got my G6 light i traded everything in until guitar hero came out. Then i traded that in when i got my Cyclo.
Advance Wars: Dual Strike
Nintendogs Chihuahua & Fwends ( ^.^ kawaiii!!! -but boring after you are a 99x Champion with all your dogs and unlock any kind of dogs in the shop.. You also can unlock dalmatian and jack russel terrier in Chihuahua version )
New Super Mario Bros.
Custom Robo Arena
Brainage 2
I buy all games that I consider to be great. On the top of my head, I've bought:
Mario Kart DS
The World Ends With You
TWEWY
LoZ: Phantom Hourglass
FFIV
Metroid Prime Hunters
Jump Ultimate Stars
Daigasso Band Bros (have yet to buy DX)
I have like 2 i guess:
Zelda - Phantom Hour Glass,
The "improve your English" one (can't remember the exact name),
and... that's all (not talking about my 4G microSD card ^^)
