How far has the CFW come on PS4?

Been thinking of purchasing a PS4 and was wondering how far the PS4 CFW has come. Is there a stable backup loader yet? What firmware should I look for when searching for one to buy?

There is no ps4 cfw.

PS4 uses kernel level HEN (homebrew enabler) and fake signed pkgs to run back ups.

9.00. 5.05 is the golden firmware, but good luck finding one for a reasonable price.

Gold hen2 is very stable, I run it on a ps4 pro with fw 9.0.
So I'd recommend a ps4 pro on firmware 9.0

Yes, but it's not like ps3 cfw.

Specifically to be custom firmware, it has to be stored in the firmware.

While ps4 currently only has a tethered jail break.

search for FW 5.05 if you annoyed using USB method on FW 9.0

both of them is stable but i recommend you to switch your ps4 internal drive with SSD
