Hacking how do you take around your DS?

I stick it in my backpack.
Even if the only thing inside is my DS, I still carry a backpack just for DS. If I don't have a backpack then I won't carry my DS outside of my house. (Who doesn't have one?)

I usually have a messenger bag with me, since I always like to have a sketchbook on hand, so I put it in there, but on the few occasions I didn't wanna lug the bag around I found that the DS Lite fits in my pockets.

I made one out of a black sock, and now it looks almost like this :

I like it because does not make my DSlite much thicker and prevents scratches when the DS is in my bag along with keys, cell and coins....

I have a futronics Case that came with a heap of other crap. It had a pouch for other accessories (cloth for screen, Slot 2 card, MircoSD adapter), and the pouch had one of those clips like hiking gear has. I just hook that into the belt loop on my jeans and let my top cover it. Best way to keep the DS on me at all time in case of emergency.

I like the invention, "pocket".

never bring my DS to school so just for storage when I'm on the go (mall, home, friends house, etc.)

I use one of those around the house or when I've got a small bag, they're brilliant.

No protection on the shoulder buttons so I wouldn't throw it around as much as my other case but it's fine for taking my GBA/DS to work.

Liked them so much I brought 4... before I even had a DS. Wow that's sad. (In my defence I wanted two different colours and Game sell them in packs of 2)

Generally speaking, I don't "take around" my DS. But when I do take my DS with me somewhere, I just take the DS itself and nothing else. I have a slot1 and slot2 card, so everything I need is in one compact package.

I have my DS in a pair of Swing-Grips that also protects the DS, so it's sort of protected from normal damage.

It's never come up, I always have a bag. Maybe it's a girl thing

My old GBA case has a shoulder strap anyway, it's thin string though so I'd trust it about as far as I can throw it.

That case is the same I had! except the line was pink, not gray.

I use this one now: http://dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.2963

Really soft and fits the DS well so its not much extra bulk

as some else stated pockets is someting you should try to have, and then why not use them

I really wanted those GAME mittens, but the only online store which stocked them (gameplay.co.uk) kept rejecting my Maestro payment >_>
