Basically it is sort of my online persona. Regardless on what little social media I do not post pictures, mention real people that I know, or other things like that. Partially it is for some anonymity but also for the fact that the people I do know are not interested in my interests and thoughts.

It may seem like you just dealing with scammers perhaps, or something, maybe ajust privacy setting or something. I dunno, i will admit there is people like that but how to handle that, just ignore, for all we know they are just doing business, not really trying to be friends, is a possibility.

Come on, don't say that, i'm sure you are just unlucky with some people. You been able to have interactions and conversations with people here.

Is just a matter of compatibility if i may say based on observation, some people don't get along, i understand, i also get that if one person mess up too many times (And i mean just have bad outcomes) that is very discouraging and can lead to making someone more introverted personality, sometimes it just take the right kind of person to maybe change that around to a positive way, believe me, i know cause is constant never ending story (no pun intended) with me and my situation. Is nothing to do with my diagnosed mentality, cause regular "normal" people have such problems as well.

Well the people that I do know in real life have very little interest in politics,gaming, computing, and so on which are the main things that I am interested in. All they talk about online is stuff I could careless about + selfies + stupid memes. Likewise for what it is worth I prefer forums for actual online conversations.

I'm not. I've never been scammed on steam.

But if it's a random Russian request, it will more than likely be a scammer trying to get you to click a link, convince you to give something from your inventory or some other scam, so I just can't be bothered to even add anymore.

Honestly, I reject them unless they're someone I literally just played with. I'm not necessarily playing online games to make friends, but I enjoy being able to queue with people that I know I can play well with, rather than always going into solo queue blind all the time. It's usually only a one-time thing with each person though.
