How do you avoid spoilers?

I haven't watched any videos on the topic but footage from it still shows up in random YouTube videos about other games and even videos not about games sometimes, not to mention post on forums and stuff.

Unfortunately, I don't see myself not using YouTube or the internet for the next year or two, so does anyone have any tips on how to avoid spoilers?

if video from the game shows up in other videos you watch, I don't see any way to avoid that unless you stop watching those videos, and instead watch something more specific, less general, and less over-the-map. If, on the other hand, you don't want to see the YouTube sidebar showing other videos, you can block that with Ublock Origin. Right-click > Block Element... then make your selection and create a new rule.
