1. You can just use CleanRip and an SD card big enough to hold a single or dual layer disc. (16GB is more than enough for dual layer)
2. Save Game Manager GX for Wii games, GCMM for Gamecube ones.
3. Unsure.
4. Very resource-intensive. It has to emulate all of the hardware. Even a decent PC may drop frames.
5. Yes. You need a GC to USB adapter for the former and a bluetooth radio and sensor bar for the latter.

MS paid up, Nintendo paied up, but SONY was stubborn. They finally settled with the plaintiff later on bu the original Dual Shock 3 didn't have dual shock, go figure...
