I just have my Wii modded with a Cyclowiz chip.
I burned all my games with Nero on TDK 1-16x DVD+R with speed 6x.
When I put them in my Wii, they aren't recognized. Does anyone know where the problem is?

A> Try bitsetting the DVD+R to be recognized as a DVD-ROM
B> Try burning slower
C> Is the disc image unscrambled?
D> If all else fails, maybe it's your installation.
Do you have the first generation Wii?
Ya I just checked it with quickpar and it says its complete but still wont extract with a number of programs ive tried...had the same prob with NFSC - one file was 2mb smaller than the others, but the problem was that the PAR2 check said it was ok! So just downloaded another nfsc upload (also from Wierd ofcourse) and that was the right size so it unpacked correctly.
So you can't alway rely on the PARs, this one probably was MADE with a corrupt file
Did you check it with the .sfv file?Ya I just checked it with quickpar and it says its complete but still wont extract with a number of programs ive tried...Â
I recommend ImgBurn as I have twice already in this threadWhat program sould i use for burning the Wii .iso's?Is Nero 7 the best choice?
What burner do you have psykopat?
Some Burners will auto bitset.
Most won't though and some cant do it at all.

NERO should be fine though.
unfortunately it appears that your drive doesn't support bitsetting. Also it may have trouble writing at good quality with many different types of media, see here.thanx for your fast help ^^ i've a TSSTcorp CD/DVDW TS-H552B HP08 (ATA)

This page has the latest firmware for your drive which may help with media compatability but won't enable bitsetting.
I just joined today, seeing as how I just got a Wiinja chip and this site seems to be best Wii scene-related site going.
Just wondering, the "Do not talk about warez, where to get it, how you get yours, etc" page long disclaimer I signed at the start, I take it that it's lip service only then in this site? Other console scene sites I follow enforce this rigidly, doesn't seem to be the case here.
Not having a dig at anyone, I don't care what you do, just so I know the bounds and not to overstep them.
I wondered about this as well. But generally it can be summed up as ask for the rom/iso = no, no. But IF you have the rom/iso already then we can help... kinda.

What do you mean by the bitsetting part?
The disc images are unscrambled.
The installation was ok, because some burned games were demonstrated by the installer.
EDIT: Gonna try to burn it with ImageBurn now, with the setting to burn as DVD-ROM.
