Homebrew How do I update smash bros for 3DS?

I assume it's probably not a good idea to download it through the e-shop but when I tried using CIAangel to hopefully find the title and update it can't find anything..so what can I do?

have you tried launching the application and updating when it prompts you to
it's fine to do that lmao

I'd suggest using freeshop. that's how I update my games. I even found an update for etrian odyssey 5 (my favorite series) on there when there was nothing on that iso site.

A cfw 3ds functions exactly like a regular 3ds just with some added patches. Everything a vanilla 3ds can do, a cfw 3ds can too. Just update through the eShop like normal.

Updating through the eshop is safe.

I only suggested freeshop since updating out-of-region games doesn't work with a normal eshop update. it will keep saying u should update even if it seemingly downloads and installs the update. this is a real problem with region free games since u don't always know which region they came from.

Oh lol ok thanks guys. I just always tried getting updates through ciaangel ect, but if it's safe then I guess were good.
