ROM Hack How do I setup homepass on this device?

If possible. I only have one device that could potentially be compatible, which is my android 4.4.2 phone (cyanogenmod, it's unusable with vanilla ROM), it's a Samsung galaxy ace 2X GT-S7560M and i have a 100MB data plan

Is there anything I can do?

I use this app (linked in the thread) which works great, but there's so many variations with Android devices so hard to say for certain whether it will work or not until you try it - you definitely need to at least be rooted, otherwise you can't change your MAC address.

Already tried that app, doesn't work at all and neither do the other methods listed, it's not documented enough

I don't think there's much you can do then because development for Homepass on android devices seems dead A Raspberry Pi is probably best option if you don't mind spending some $

I already have a raspberry pi, but the only wifi adapter i have isn't compatible, at least i don't think it is... it kept spewing errors about missing drivers and configs for wlan0
