But you are assuming they will never have to touch the system again. What if he loses contact with him, that's sounds risky to me.

If he says he is selling it without CFW on 11.2 he should do that so that the person pays for what they believe they are getting.

I advise the user to keep CFW and be honest about it. If it's not an option then do the right thing and sell system as described.
